Seacoast Security is looking for a Security Alarm Service Technician to join our Portsmouth, NH team!
Position Summary: The ideal candidate will have experience installing, servicing, and inspecting fire, burglar, access control, and CCTV systems.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Installation, service, and inspection of security alarms and associated low voltage systems
- System testing and inspecting to the prescribed standards
- Make connections and required adjustments as directed; test operation of all components of each system to the signal-receiving center
- Provide on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs of customers security equipment
- Preparing accurate and timely service tickets and reports
- Ensuring a high level of customer service, satisfaction, and communication
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment on and off site
- Interface successfully with Administration, Sales, Customers, and Management
- Ability to use a variety of hand tools
- Perform other duties as required
Education & Required Skills:
- High School Diploma / GED
- 2 years' experience required
- Familiarity with one or more of the following product lines; Honeywell, DSC, Napco, Door King, Firelite, Silent Knight
- Ability to install, inspect, or service security alarms
- Basic computer knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must read and speak English
- Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well organized
- Must have clean driving record and a valid Driver's License And a valid Low or High Voltage License
Experience:
- Prior experience in inspections, field service, and / or installation preferred but not required
- NICET Certification is preferred but not required
