Summary:
Up to $10,000 signing bonus depending on experience.
Manage field personnel and equipment as well as plan and execute assigned work or tasks by performing the following duties.
Duties, Functions and Responsibilities: Includes some or all the following. Other duties may be assigned. This is a 50% production role.
- Train new and existing employees
- Oversee safety of all employees.
- Document employees progress on training program.
- Assist operations manger in the organization of crews and equipment to perform the required work.
- Develop and motivate crew members to achieve desired productivity and job performance.
- Discipline employees who violate company policies or procedures in conjunction of operations manager.
- Understand and implement accident control program.
- Investigate accidents and promptly report to appropriate persons/entities.
- Settle promptly all damage complaints that stem from production activities.
- Maintain assigned equipment in an efficient, safe, and economical manner (truck, chipper, crane, aerial lift, sprayer, hand saw, chain saw, dump truck, shovel, rake, ropes, pulleys, and related equipment)
- Operate log truck as needed
- Operate stump grinder as needed.
Education and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2 year degree in related field preferred
- Ability to pass drug test and background check
- ISA Arborist certification required(within 6 mos)
- CDL-B required
- CTSP required, or ability to obtain within 6 mos.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Well versed in all aspects of residential tree care: Pruning, Cabling, Removals, Rigging, Climbing, Aerial lift operation, Mini skid operation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Full time salary position. Company vehicle. Compensation based on qualifications and experience. Bonus based on gross margin performance. Benefits include: Health, dental, 401k and 3 weeks paid vacation.
