Position Overview
Seacrest is seeking an experienced and visionary Art Director to oversee, promote, and develop our comprehensive arts program. The Art Director will be responsible for leading and enhancing the arts curriculum, supporting faculty, and ensuring that the arts remain a central and celebrated part of the Seacrest experience. This role is pivotal in aligning the arts program with the school's mission and arts philosophy, fostering a culture of creativity and artistic excellence across all grade levels.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Vision: Develop and implement a strategic vision for the arts program that aligns with the school’s mission and values. Oversee the arts curriculum, ensuring it is innovative, inclusive, and meets the developmental needs of students from Pre-K through 12th grade. Promote a culture of artistic excellence and creativity within the school community. Program Development & Management: Lead and support arts faculty in delivering a dynamic and inspiring arts education. Develop and manage budgets, resources, and facilities to support the arts program. Foster partnerships with local arts organizations and bring visiting artists to enhance the program. Student Engagement & Achievement:

- Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in arts education, with a leadership role preferred.
- Proven experience in developing and managing arts programs.
- Strong knowledge of art education best practices and current trends.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Passion for fostering creativity and artistic expression in students.
