Position Summary:
As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional food and beverage service to our guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor. You must thrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding service with a positive and polite attitude, ensuring guests feel welcomed and valued.
- Set up side stations and perform assigned side work to prepare for service.
- Greet guests promptly upon seating and distribute menus.
- Assist guests with menu selections, answer questions, and provide recommendations.
- Take accurate orders and communicate special cooking instructions to the kitchen team.
- Assemble and deliver food orders to guests, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
- Serve meals following proper service etiquette, replenish water, and attend to additional requests.
- Clear tables of soiled dishes efficiently and promptly.
- Present dessert, coffee, and after-dinner drinks, suggesting options as appropriate.
- Verify the accuracy of charges on checks and process payments through the POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and bus stations throughout the shift.
- Immediately report guest complaints or concerns to the supervisor.
- Assist with clean-up and closing duties as assigned by the manager.
- Attend pre-meal meetings as scheduled by the Dining Room Supervisor or Food and Beverage Manager.
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by supervisors to ensure efficient restaurant operations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience as a server in a full-service restaurant, with at least six (6) months in an upscale setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to handle various guest service situations effectively.
- Ability to collaborate with the management team on training and development initiatives.
- Professional appearance and demeanor suitable for a luxury dining environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking during shifts.
- Ability to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing between 20-50 pounds.

- Capable of navigating through crowded dining areas, bending, reaching, and stretching to serve customers effectively.
