What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Runner/Support Staff position at Seaglass Restaurant?
Responsibilities:
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables in a timely manner
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of food orders
- Assist with food preparation and plating when needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and workstations
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist servers with bussing tables and keeping the dining room clean
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of food handling, safety, and preparation techniques
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers, kitchen staff, and servers
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in delivering food orders

- Flexibility to work in various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Note: Prior experience as a Food Runner or in the hospitality/restaurant industry is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
