Product Marketing Manager

Seal Security
New York, NY Full Time
POSTED ON 3/13/2025
AVAILABLE BEFORE 4/11/2025
Seal Security is redefining open source vulnerability remediation by providing standalone security patches that ensure seamless and predictable fixes for vulnerabilities in both application code and images. By backporting security fixes and creating fully compatible versions of open source packages, Seal enables security teams to apply patches independently of R&D involvement. This approach decouples security fixes from feature upgrades, centralizes the replacement of all vulnerable package instances across all CI pipelines, and automates and scales the vulnerability remediation processes.

Backed by top-tier venture capital firms, Seal Security is a well-funded and fast-growing company guided by industry-leading cybersecurity and go-to-market experts. We have rapidly grown out of stealth mode with numerous Fortune 500 customers and are expanding our team to continue scaling our impact.

We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager (PMM) to join our team as our first PMM hire. This is an exciting opportunity to own product marketing strategy and content from the ground up, shaping our messaging, positioning, and go-to-market success. As the primary PMM, you’ll lead content creation efforts across multiple formats to support demand generation and sales enablement. Additionally, you'll conduct competitive research, define ideal customer profiles (ICPs), and develop strategies that amplify Seal Security’s market presence.

As the company scales, this role has significant growth potential, including the opportunity to build and lead a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute product marketing strategy for all Seal Security offerings.
  • Own content creation across multiple formats, including ebooks, blogs, brochures, case studies, sales enablement materials, landing pages, webinars, videos, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with the demand generation team to ensure content aligns with marketing and sales objectives.
  • Conduct competitive research and market analysis to refine positioning, differentiation, and messaging.
  • Define and evolve ICPs (Ideal Customer Profiles) to enhance targeting and sales strategies.
  • Work closely with sales, product, and leadership to ensure a consistent and compelling narrative in all external communications.
  • Track and analyze content performance, optimizing based on insights.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in product marketing, preferably in B2B SaaS or cybersecurity.
  • Strong ability to write both long-form and short-form content tailored to different stages of the buyer journey.
  • Experience creating sales enablement materials to support GTM teams.
  • Knowledge of competitive analysis, ICP definition, and positioning strategies.
  • Strong storytelling and messaging skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling content.
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to own projects end-to-end in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product teams.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills.

Why Seal Security?:

At Seal Security, you’ll be joining a well-funded, innovative, and fast-growing company with a mission to transform open source security. As our first PMM, you’ll have a direct impact on our brand, messaging, and GTM success while gaining significant career growth opportunities. If you thrive in a high-energy, collaborative environment and are excited to build something from the ground up, we’d love to hear from you!
