Job Title: Executive Recruiting Manager / Executive Recruiter
Location: Charlotte, NC Headquarters
Reports To: Global Executive Director, Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
The Executive Recruiting Manager (or Executive Recruiter) is responsible for leading the executive recruitment process, identifying, attracting, and securing top executive talent to drive the success of Sealed Air. This role requires a strategic and consultative approach to executive search, stakeholder management, and candidate experience. The ideal candidate will have strong networking capabilities, be skilled at managing confidential searches and have the ability to influence and partner with senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive executive recruitment strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Partner with Chief People Officer or Executive Director Talent Acquisition, C Suite leaders and HR Business Partners to understand critical talent needs and succession planning.
- Lead end-to-end executive search processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and managing candidate pipelines.
- Conduct market research and competitive intelligence to identify top-tier executive talent.
- Build and maintain relationships with executive candidates, search firms, and industry professionals.
- Assess and present high-caliber candidates using competency-based evaluation techniques.
- Oversee the executive hiring experience, ensuring seamless communication and engagement.
- Manage offer negotiation, closing, and assist with onboarding in collaboration with HR and hiring managers.
- Track and report on key executive recruiting metrics and trends to inform hiring strategies and to provide updates to senior leadership.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 7 years of experience in executive recruiting, talent acquisition, or executive search.
- Proven track record of successfully placing senior-level executives in a corporate or agency setting.
- Strong relationship management skills with the ability to influence and build credibility with C-suite stakeholders.
- Expertise in executive sourcing techniques, including direct sourcing, research, and market mapping.
- Familiarity with executive compensation structures and negotiation tactics.
- Experience managing external search firm partnerships.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and strategic thinking skills.
