Job Title: Foundation Coating Installer
Location: Hickory, North Carolina
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and responsible Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing outstanding service.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times, mileage, and any incidents that occur during transport.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving to ensure the safety of yourself and others on the road.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods as necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle at all times.
Requirements
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a driver or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings as mandated by company policy.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
- Physical ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) when loading/unloading goods.
- Familiarity with GPS devices or navigation apps is a plus.
