What You Will Do:
- Perform weekly and biweekly payroll processing for all W-2 employees promptly and accurately.
- Deliver timekeeping reports to third-party agencies for temporary employees as needed.
- Engage daily with payroll preparation, troubleshooting urgent payroll needs.
- Audit and maintain all timekeeping and payroll processing records.
- Assist with the development and implementation of payroll practices, policies, and procedures.
- Interact with Human Resources, supervisors, and employees regarding payroll and timekeeping inquiries.
- Perform payroll-related month-end tasks and reconciliations.
- Ensure payroll tax codes are correctly set up in payroll software.
- Support the Accounts Payable department with invoice processing as needed.
- Assist the Director of Finance with Profit Sharing and 401k Plan administration.
- Participate in business-related projects and activities as requested by management.
- Adhere to Sealing Devices' and the Accounting Department’s Code of Ethics and Confidentiality.
What you will need to succeed:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in payroll administration.
- Experience with payroll software (e.g., UKG, Paychex, ADP) and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
Salary ranges for this position are determined based upon the job location and can be adjusted based upon experience, reflecting our commitment to valuing the expertise and contributions of our individual team members. Salary range for this role is $24.00 per hour - $27.50 per hour.
