The Marketing Coordinator will provide critical support to the VP – Marketing & Communications and the Marketing Team, with a focus on creative development, content creation, and maintaining internal marketing systems. This position requires a highly dependable, organized, and detail-oriented individual, with the ability to think creatively and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The ideal candidate must have exceptional follow-through, be highly motivated and a self-starter, and possess technological acumen, as well as strong written/verbal communication skills.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Creative & Content Development: Assist in the creation, updating, and editing of marketing materials, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and overall marketing strategies. Support content generation for digital platforms, print materials, social media, and email campaigns.

Campaign Planning & Execution: Collaborate with the marketing team to plan, coordinate, and execute marketing campaigns. Ensure all deliverables are completed on time and within scope.

Systems Maintenance: Maintain and update marketing systems and databases to ensure all materials, campaigns, and data are current and easily accessible. Organize historical marketing data and gather necessary information for reporting and analysis.

Inter-Departmental Communication: Liaison between the marketing team and other departments, facilitating communication to ensure project timelines and goals are met.

Marketing Inventory Management: Assist with ordering, tracking, and managing marketing materials, ensuring inventory levels are accurate and consistent with upcoming campaigns or needs.

Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the marketing department, including coding invoices, handling correspondence, and assisting with any other duties deemed necessary as directed by the VP – of Marketing & Communications.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & QUALIFICATIONS

Dependability & Organization: Must be reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. A high level of integrity is required.

Creativity: Strong creative skills to assist in the development of visually appealing and engaging marketing content.

PC & Software Proficiency: High level of proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and marketing tools. Familiarity with content management systems, project management tools, and basic design software (e.g., Canva and Adobe Creative Suite).

Excellent Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and interact professionally with internal teams and external vendors.

Attention to Detail: Ability to proofread and edit materials with a keen eye for detail to ensure quality and accuracy in all marketing collateral.

Multitasking & Time Management: Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines in a dynamic work environment.

Temperament: Must be trainable, coachable, and a self-starter who looks for solutions and desires to learn industrial real estate with the aptitude for self-guided learning. Must be versatile and flexible in making last-minute adjustments to work requests.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field or equivalent experience

Experience: 1-2 years of experience in marketing, creative development, or content development.

 

Productivity and accuracy will be monitored on a periodic basis by the supervisor and department head. Unusual or complex problems are referred to the supervisor.
