Sealy Logistics Dispatch/Customer Service Coordinator
Sealy Logistics has an opening for an ambitious career-oriented individual looking to build their skills in the area of trucking dispatch, transportation management, and logistics.
This position will report to our Manager of Dispatch and Brokerage and will assist in communicating immediate responses to time-sensitive requests regarding relevant status and information pertaining to questions or concerns about the shipping and delivery of their products being managed by Sealy Logistics.
This position will require
- 2-3 years prior experience as a truck dispatcher or similar industry experience
- Basic knowledge of how trucking, shipping, and logistics work along with a solid knowledge of supply chain management
- Technological and computer skills, particularly in transportation management software
- Knowledge of using office software like Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills to keep track of equipment, schedules, routes and personnel
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with others and handle difficult situations calmly, especially during customer complaints and to relay information in a fast-paced environment
- Leadership and motivational abilities respond to time-sensitive requests.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills to analyze problems
- Assist manager to ensure compliance with shipping regulations, maintenance records, and safety protocols
- Spanish speaking a plus
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in logistics or transportation preferred but not required

This position is on-site and is based in Sealy, Texas
