Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Roofing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in asphalt roofing removal and installation, with hands-on experience using various tools and techniques. This role involves working on diverse projects, including heights of up to 3-4 stories. Being comfortable with heights and having experience as a roofing installer is a necessity.
Duties
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various construction tasks.
- Perform asphalt roofing installation on residential roofs between 1 story and 4 stories.
- Be able to comfortably use ladders and roofing equipment
- Controlled removal of existing roofing projects
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow on roofing projects.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience as a roofing installer with excellent knowledge of asphalt roofing systems.
- Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, ladders and equipment relevant to the trade.
- Familiarity with working up high on rooftops with walkable pitches. (Including some roofs with steep slopes on occasion)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of work including efficient installation.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on various projects.
