Project Manager II

Our client, a globally recognized brand, specializes in designing and manufacturing highly engineered gas processing equipment. With over 100 years of history, they have been at the forefront of pioneering heat transfer solutions for cryogenic liquefaction. Their products are essential for handling gasses and turning them into useful forms. Additionally, their distribution and storage solutions are essential for delivering across various industrial applications and energy sectors.

Position Responsibilities:

They are currently hiring an in-person Project Manager to join their team in Beasley, TX. This individual will be responsible for driving projects from start to completion, overseeing execution across engineering, design, and fabrication.

• Lead the full project lifecycle, from contract kickoff through final delivery.
• Coordinate internal teams to ensure accurate and timely project reporting (e.g., weekly AR reviews, milestone tracking, and delivery performance).
• Manage financial aspects of projects including invoicing, change orders, AR tracking, and job/budget setup.
• Establish and maintain standard project review processes, reporting metrics, and performance indicators (e.g., revenue, margins, delivery dates, risks).
• Maintain and improve tools and frameworks used in project tracking and execution (e.g., sales handovers, risk reviews, implementation plans, closeout documentation).
• Oversee the project dashboard and ensure accurate data is reported to leadership.
• Independently manage multiple smaller-scale projects, particularly aftermarket or short-cycle work.
• Act as the liaison between customers and the internal team to resolve issues, monitor progress, and maintain communication.
• Deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget, meeting both internal standards and client expectations.
• Keep documentation, plans, and progress reports up to date and accessible.
• Uphold high ethical standards and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Position requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline.
• CAPM or PMP certification and familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methods are advantageous.
• 3–4 years of experience in a project management role within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Comfortable navigating client demands and shifting project scopes with a solutions-first mindset.
• Detail-oriented with solid foresight to anticipate and manage project risks or opportunities.
• Skilled in negotiation and conflict resolution to ensure smooth project outcomes.
• Dependable and accountable in driving projects to completion.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective collaborator able to work across departments and influence teams.
• Professional, service-oriented communicator with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Experience working with rotating equipment such as compressors or expanders is highly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and project tracking software.
• Familiarity with enterprise systems such as JDE ERP is a strong plus.
