Job Description:
This role is focused on overseeing projects from initiation through completion, including engineering, design, and manufacturing stages. The position involves leading a team of project managers, ensuring project success, and managing all commercial, technical, and administrative project aspects.
- Direct and support a team of project managers, fostering growth and team performance.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to meet objectives and financial targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as engineering, sales, and product development to define project scope and goals.
- Maintain open communication with clients, stakeholders, and vendors, ensuring alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Anticipate potential risks, implement mitigation strategies, and maintain project timelines.
- Monitor project progress, facilitate status meetings, and provide updates to senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with design codes, safety regulations, and client specifications.
- Support proposal development and review contracts prior to award.
- Manage project documentation through internal systems and oversee procurement and vendor selection.
- Conduct post-project reviews, incorporating lessons learned to improve future project outcomes.
- Drive process improvements in cost control, forecasting, and change management.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of leadership experience in project management or a similar role.
- Strong skills in budgeting, stakeholder management, and project planning methodologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and ERP systems.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
- Experience navigating complex issues and driving resolution in global, cross-functional teams.
Preferred Requirements:
- 10 years in project management, including overseeing multiple projects or product lines.
- Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP).
- Knowledge of heavy industrial fabrication and assembly processes.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
- Experience in matrix organizations and indirect leadership roles.
- Background in working with a sales representative network.

Salary : $140,000 - $163,000
