Job Description:
The Senior Project Manager is a key role ensuring successful project delivery by managing timelines, budgets, and client satisfaction. This position oversees projects from initiation to completion, serving as the main point of contact for both clients and internal teams.
- Serve as the primary interface between customers and internal teams for project execution.
- Direct and coordinate project personnel to meet all deliverables.
- Oversee commercial and administrative elements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor and control project schedules and budgets, addressing any variances promptly.
- Interpret and manage customer specifications and contractual obligations.
- Monitor and control project scope, issuing and managing change orders as needed.
- Communicate project status effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Oversee design, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and installation phases.
- Provide technical guidance and resolve project-related challenges.
- Manage material purchasing, requisitions, and vendor progress tracking.
- Execute invoicing processes and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and project management best practices.
- Maintain project management tools and present updates during management reviews.
- Mentor and guide junior team members in their professional development.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- PMI or PMP certification is preferred.
- Four years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
- Minimum of 8 years of project management experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to manage complex, high-impact projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial forecasting, cost management, and reconciliation.
- Experience working with vendors, managing expectations, and fostering strong relationships.
- Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Exceptional communication skills suitable for management-level interactions.
- Familiarity with industry standards (ASME, B31, ASTM, AWS, OSHA) or equivalent international codes is advantageous.
- Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project, and Quickbase; experience with JD Edwards is a plus.

Salary : $90,000 - $122,000
