The Manager, Corporate Marketing is a critical role within the marketing organization working on our consume electronics client’s team. This position is responsible for planning and execution of corporate marketing campaigns and initiatives to build brand power within the mindset of target consumers and positively impact brand health. The role helps develop the annual corporate marketing plan and owns execution of all activity specific to partnerships and across corporate marketing platforms including but not limited to:
- Corporate Partnerships
- Sports Sponsorships
- Corporate Social Responsibility
- ESG & Cause Marketing
- Brand Identity
- Times Square OOH Media
- Employee Engagement
- Community Relations
Key Duties/Responsibilities
- Collaborates closely with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams to leverage consumer data, research/analytics, market trends and insights to create holistic marketing programs that build brand affinity and business growth,
- Support growth for XBU businesses, Online Brand Store (ecomm), webOS streaming, B2B
- Contributes to key organizational objectives as follows:
- Activate internal and external brand narrative campaigns with both consumers and employees.
- Develop programs across all corporate marketing platforms to build brand awareness and affinity with target demographics by implementing a consumer-first, values-driven strategy designed to create emotional connections with audiences.
- Support company’s evolution to a smart life solutions organization through platform growth and content development that grows viewership and generates revenue for owned and operated webOS OTT platform.
- Demonstrate the company’s social-good commitments through EE, ESG and CSR initiatives such as environmental initiatives, disaster relief, and support for underserved communities, etc.
- Contribute to building OBS (ecomm) strategies and help drive direct sales growth
- Develop both the brand and business to contribute to sustained growth.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and cross functional teams including: CXM, DXP, CSG, and internal agencies.
- Brief and guide each partner agency to ensure efficient and effective use of agency resources and deliverables are aligned with all corporate marketing objectives.
- Prepare creative briefing documents for campaigns/projects/deliverables that inform the work of internal and external teams, status updates, and comprehensive recaps.
- Oversee budget management and procurement process for projects to appropriately plan, secure, and manage resources in line with guidelines.
- Ensures all projects are planned and executed on strategy, on time, and on budget.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in sports marketing, business, marketing, advertising, or related field.
Experience: 3 years of experience in a brand management, partnership marketing, or corporate marketing role on the client side with at least 2 years of experience managing direct reports. Sports and sponsorship marketing, brand strategy, advertising or experiential marketing agency, and/or CSR cause marketing experience a plus.
Skills:
- Strong strategic and creative thinking abilities, with a proven record of successful campaign management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to effectively present to clients and various stakeholders, including senior executive leadership.
- Self-starter with a keen ability to balance multiple responsibilities.
- Proactive, solution-oriented focus with the ability to take the initiative to provide and/or search for answers to issues.
- Financial management acumen to develop, track, and report on budgets and scopes of work.
- Understanding of data-driven marketing and how to leverage consumer insights, digital media/PR/social media, business analytics, SEM/SEO, etc.
- Thorough understanding of the video production process from pre-production and production through post-production and delivery of final files at various specs. Extensive experience with asset management.
- Technical Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), as well as video conferencing platforms (Zoom, WebEx, etc.), and workflow management/file sharing software (Trello, Slack, Teams) and analytics tools.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Incredible attention to detail and organizational skills. A team player mentality and ability to shift gears and reprioritize workflow based on changing business needs.
