Seeking a high performing versatile and experienced System Administrator to join a new and rapidly growing program in one of the following locations : El Segundo, CA (preferred), Tukwila, WA, Huntington Beach CA, or Fairfax, Virginia. The Information Technology Infrastructure & Operations team provides and employs best practices when implementing security requirements within an information system including software engineering methodologies, system / security engineering principles, secure design, secure architecture, and secure coding techniques to protect classified and proprietary information. Opportunities include development and integration of a variety of system hardware and software application(s) supporting our engineering and manufacturing teams. Working within a diverse team of skilled and motivated co-workers to collaborate on results, this position requires a positive attitude, self-motivation, the ability to work in a fast-paced demanding environment and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Position Responsibilities :
- Performs computing delivery system integration, hardware and software installation, configuration and disposition of servers and workstations to support the architecture.
- Provides problem resolution and technical support for delivery systems.
- Provides support for the design, validation and configuration management of computing delivery systems.
- Administers users system access and works to protect information to meet security requirements.
- Monitors system performance to support capacity planning, backup and disaster recovery planning.
Mentors, leads and trains others.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret / Sensitive Compartment Information (TS / SCI) Security Clearance. (U.S. Citizenship Required.) This position requires a current Tier 5 (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) (U.S. Citizenship required) or requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.

Education / experience :
Typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master 3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).
Ability to pass Background, Drug Screen and if applicable Medical (i.e. Medical, Vision, Hearing, or Physical) if Required by Client.
