Job Overview :
The Business Manager , on behalf of our client, is responsible for supervising contract purchasing, budget analysis, and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with government contract requirements. This role plays a critical part in maintaining financial health and operational efficiency, interfacing with various divisions and government personnel, including financial analysts and cost managers.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee the preparation of 533 monthly financial reporting, ensuring compliance with government contracts.
- Develop and implement budgeting and forecasting models.
- Manage cost and invoice preparation and review processes.
- Prepare and analyze monthly and ODC reports.
- Review accounts payable checks for proper account coding and forward to the Program Manager.
- Prepare quarterly property reports and Commercial Activity Tax calculations.
- Review and update policies and procedures as required.
- Track tuition reimbursements to ensure compliance with annual limits.
- Interface with NASA CO, COTR, FMD, and other support personnel as needed.
- Provide support to the corporate office when required.
