Job Overview :
The IT Program Manager, on behalf of our client, plays a pivotal role in safeguarding the organization's cybersecurity and risk management practices. This role is responsible for identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security policies, and ensuring compliance with established security standards. The IT Program Manager will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to address security threats, design preventative measures, and prepare detailed reports for leadership.
Key Responsibilities :
- Define and implement security requirements, protocols, and standards.
- Ensure adherence to security policies, practices, and procedures.
- Conduct functional and security testing of systems and applications.
- Review enterprise and application architectures and source code for security impacts.
- Apply continuous monitoring tools to assess system security posture.
- Evaluate vulnerabilities and recommend safeguards and remediation strategies.
- Identify and implement endpoint security controls.
- Document classes of security and privacy threats and recommend mitigations.
- Oversee system administration for security systems.
- Develop and deliver IT security training and awareness programs.
- Monitor data and implement loss prevention procedures.
- Analyze security system logs and investigate cyber incidents using industry-standard tools.
- Respond to cyber incidents, collecting and preserving digital evidence to assist in remediation.
- Perform incident triage to determine scope and urgency, escalating issues as necessary.
