Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and coach mechanics to resolve mechanical problems.
- Collaborate with the operations department to optimize teamwork and performance.
- Define project priorities and provide direction to maintenance staff, ensuring quality work.
- Lead and support the performance management process, setting expectations and providing feedback.
- Manage the PDCA process, including problem identification, root cause analysis, and implementing countermeasures.
- Develop and communicate maintenance procedures and processes.
- Utilize preventive and predictive maintenance techniques to reduce breakdowns.
- Provide electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, working with circuits from 110V to 480V.
- Maintain and adjust the plant preventive maintenance (PM) program for efficiency.
- Oversee new hire selection and manage technical training programs for staff.
- Analyze line control, bottle flow, and productivity calculations to optimize production.
- Demonstrate a working understanding of all plant machinery and repair processes.
- Coordinate with production to achieve optimal line performance and support personnel.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff while maintaining a safe and secure work environment.
- Set and communicate job expectations, monitor performance, and enforce productivity standards.
- Provide coaching, counseling, and development opportunities for staff.
