Search Solution Group is seeking a Payroll Specialist on behalf of our client, a company that manufactures electrical and electronic products for commercial, industrial, utility, and telecommunications markets. The Payroll Specialist will play a key role in processing payroll, ensuring accuracy, compliance with tax regulations, and maintaining employee records. This position is vital to the smooth operation of payroll functions and contributes to the overall financial accuracy and integrity of the company.
Key Responsibilities :
- Process weekly payroll for both union and non-union employees.
- File federal and state payroll taxes.
- Upload retirement plan and HSA contributions.
- Track wage changes per union contract.
- Manage IBEW trust accounts.
- Manage FMLA time and ensure compliance.
- Maintain employee files in the ERP system.
- Track vacation and sick leave accrual for all employees.
- Post cash receipts daily.
- Run accounts payable checks weekly.
- Process accounts payable vouchers as needed.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet deadlines and ensure payroll is processed accurately.
