Job Overview:
The Senior Sales Manager will play a critical role in leading and developing a high-performing sales team for our client, a company specializing in comprehensive home services, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, and indoor air quality solutions. This role is instrumental in driving revenue growth, refining sales strategies, and fostering a customer-centric culture while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support the company’s growth initiatives, including acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Coaching:
- Oversee a team of 26 sales representatives (20 outside, 6 inside/customer service), providing coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a collaborative, positive sales culture aligned with company values.
- Ensure accountability for sales activities, including lead follow-up and professional customer interactions.
Sales Process Management:
- Define, implement, and optimize sales processes from lead generation to conversion.
- Utilize CRM tools (ServiceTitan and Microsoft Dynamics) to track sales performance and ensure consistent follow-up.
- Collaborate with marketing to ensure a steady flow of qualified leads and effective campaigns.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Strengthen relationships with existing clients and identify new business opportunities.
- Enhance customer satisfaction through personalized service and proactive follow-up.
- Promote the company’s value proposition to build trust and loyalty.
Sales Growth & Business Development:
- Develop and execute a sales growth plan, including exploring acquisition opportunities.
- Identify strategic networking and partnership opportunities to promote the brand.
- Collaborate with leadership to align sales initiatives with business growth goals
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
- Partner with marketing to align sales efforts with campaigns and branding.
- Work with technical and field teams to ensure alignment on customer needs and cross-selling opportunities.
- Support divisional goals across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and remodeling services.
Sales Training & Development:
- Conduct training sessions to improve sales techniques, customer interaction, and product knowledge.
- Equip field staff with the tools and resources needed to identify sales opportunities.
Sales Metrics & Reporting:
- Establish and monitor sales KPIs for team members and the department.
- Analyze sales data and prepare reports for leadership on performance and revenue trends.
- Use insights to refine strategies and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements Include:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
- 5 years of sales management experience with a proven track record of leading successful teams.
- Experience in residential services (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) or managing outside sales teams preferred.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (ServiceTitan, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
