Job Overview :
Search Solution Group is seeking a Treasury Analyst on behalf of our client, a company specializing in managing high volume, resolvable inventories across mass torts, employment, consumer mass arbitrations, and single event claims. This role is vital in overseeing daily ACH operations and payment processing, managing payment processor relationships, and ensuring compliance with payment processing policies and industry best practices. The Treasury Analyst will play a key role in maintaining smooth operations and securing payment success across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee daily ACH operations and payment processing.
Manage relationships with payment processors such as Stripe and Plaid.
Monitor return rates and risk metrics related to payment transactions.
Develop and maintain payment processing policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with NACHA rules and regulations.
Manage the payment operations team to ensure timely and accurate processing.
Handle payment reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and transparency.
Collaborate with the customer service team on payment issues and escalations.
Implement automation strategies for payment processing to improve efficiency and compliance.
Ensure that accounts remain active, and funds are processed successfully, particularly for refund checks.
Coordinate efforts to mitigate risks related to payment failures and issues, proactively identifying areas for improvement. Requirements Include :
Education :
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. Experience :
3 years of experience in treasury or payment operations, with a focus on ACH, payment reconciliation, or financial operations.
Experience with payment processors such as Stripe and Plaid is preferred.
Familiarity with NACHA rules and compliance requirements is a plus. Skills :
Strong knowledge of payment processing and ACH transactions.
Experience in managing payment processor relationships and troubleshooting payment issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal teams and external vendors.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address payment processing issues.
Ability to develop and implement processes, policies, and automation strategies.
High attention to detail and accuracy in handling payment reconciliation. Certifications :
NACHA certification or other relevant certifications in payment processing is a plus. Knowledge :
In-depth understanding of ACH operations, payment authorization, and debits.
Knowledge of financial and accounting software systems.
Familiarity with risk management principles related to payments and financial operations. Key Competencies :
