Job Overview : Search Solution Group is seeking an experienced Vice President of Sales for our client, an industrial equipment supplier, to lead their sales division with a focus on On-Premises Laundry (OPL), Coin, Multi-Family Housing (MFH), and Chemical equipment. This role is critical for driving business growth, managing regional sales managers, and ensuring high customer satisfaction across the company's product lines. The VP of Sales will also oversee the development and implementation of sales strategies, hiring and training programs, and collaborate closely with key departments to ensure seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities :
Regional Sales Manager Support :
Field calls and emails from RSMs, addressing equipment inquiries, troubleshooting, and operational issues.
Provide timely solutions to ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
Equipment Expertise and Technical Support :
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of OPL, Coin, MFH, and Chemical equipment.
Assist RSMs with technical queries, product specifications, and equipment comparisons.
Troubleshooting, Installation, and Service Coordination :
Respond to and resolve installation issues, coordinating with relevant teams for on-site support.
Organize service technician visits as needed and collaborate with the Service Management team.
Hiring & Training Program Development :
Coordinate with HR to analyze potential candidates and conduct interviews for RSM positions.
Develop and execute training sessions for RSMs on new equipment features, updates, and best practices.
Business Development Collaboration :
Collaborate with RSMs to strategize territory development and business growth initiatives.
Assist in identifying new market opportunities and implementing sales strategies.
KPI and Quota Management :
Establish KPIs and quotas for RSMs and monitor monthly, quarterly, and yearly performance.
Product Feedback and Improvement Suggestions :
Collect feedback from RSMs on equipment performance and collaborate with management to suggest product enhancements.
Sales Support and Proposal Assistance :
Assist in creating quotes, proposals, and presentations for OPL, Coin, MFH, and Chemical equipment sales.
Develop plans to increase service-based programs such as leasing, extended warranties, and service contracts.
Market Insights and Industry Trends :
Stay updated on industry trends and share market insights with RSMs to improve competitiveness.
Customer Satisfaction and Relationship Building :
Build strong relationships with RSMs and monitor customer satisfaction metrics.
Continuous Professional Development :
Participate in training programs to enhance technical and customer service skills.
Cross-Functional Collaboration :
Work closely with departments like Service, Installations, Marketing, and Accounting to ensure seamless operations and successful product launches. Requirements :
Education : Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience : Minimum of 10 years in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in industrial equipment or a related field.
Skills :
Strong technical expertise in OPL, Coin, MFH, and Chemical equipment.
Proven ability to manage sales teams, set KPIs, and drive results.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate service needs.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
