Join a fast-growing, private equity-owned, multi-state healthcare services organization headquartered in Alpharetta, GA. We’re seeking an experienced Controller to lead our accounting operations and drive financial excellence in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the monthly close process to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting aligned with strategic management goals.
- Manage all accounting functions, including revenue recognition, payroll, accounts payable, lease accounting, and treasury.
- Prepare and analyze short-term and long-term cash forecasts to support financial planning.
- Develop, document, and enforce internal control policies to maintain compliance with accounting standards. Address and resolve any identified weaknesses promptly.
- Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate the annual audit process.
- Lead the purchase accounting and integration of acquisitions, including opening balance sheet preparation.
- Coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure accurate and timely legal entity tax filings.
- Support debt covenant calculations and lender reporting requirements.
- Partner with operations and clinical leadership teams to interpret financial results and address inquiries effectively.
- Oversee the financial integration of acquisitions and new locations, ensuring smooth transitions for accounting functions such as accounts payable and treasury.
- Evaluate and implement ERP systems and other financial solutions to align with long-term business growth objectives.
- Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and other ad hoc financial projects to support organizational goals.
What You Bring:
- CPA designation required; Bachelor's degree in Accounting required, Master’s degree preferred.
- 6–8 years of progressive accounting experience; public accounting experience is a plus.
- Prior experience as a Controller in a multi-location healthcare or service organization is highly desirable.
- Exposure to private equity environments is a strong advantage.
- Leadership and managerial experience with a demonstrated ability to build and scale accounting operations.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite experience is a plus), with a track record of implementing scalable solutions.
- Exceptional analytical and communication skills to navigate complex financial scenarios effectively.
