  • Act as the subject matter expert on all company-sponsored benefits, including health, dental, vision, disability, 401(k), and wellness programs.
  • Lead the onboarding benefits presentation, guiding new hires through enrollment and plan options.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits eligibility, claims, and status changes.
  • Work closely with brokers and vendors to oversee open enrollment, maintain accurate employee benefit records, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (ACA, COBRA, workers’ compensation, etc.).
  • Prepare and reconcile monthly carrier invoices, updating HRIS records for accuracy and reporting purposes.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CPP, PHR, or SHRM-CP preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in payroll processing, with strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with benefits administration, HRIS platforms, and payroll systems.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear guidance to employees at all levels.
