Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing team. This individual will play a key role in expanding our market presence by identifying, qualifying, and cultivating relationships with potential partners, property owners, and strategic clients. The ideal candidate is passionate about travel, real estate, and relationship-building, with a talent for uncovering new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Identify and research new business opportunities including potential property owners, travel agencies, corporate partners, and tourism networks.
- Outbound Prospecting: Make initial outreach through calls, emails, and networking to introduce Seaside Vacation Homes and explore partnership potential.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of leads, contacts, and communication in the CRM system; track pipeline activity and report on progress.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales, Homeowner Relationship Manager and Operations teams to align strategies and ensure a seamless client onboarding experience.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and local market dynamics to identify emerging opportunities and risks.
- Goal Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly KPIs for outreach, qualified leads, and conversions.
- Showroom/Facility Maintenance/Presentation- Oversee and maintain the presentation of showroom items, facility maintenance- painting, organization, miscellaneous repairs, outside maintenance landscaping, building repairs etc.
- Retail Showroom -Furniture- unbox and assemble furniture products with care and attention to detail in our 10,000 sq foot showroom for display.
- Inventory Control- reorder sold products and manage inbound orders.
- Produce revenue- produce sales revenue from showroom products.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or client relations-hospitality or vacation rental experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach and strong organizational skills.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Passion for the travel, tourism, hospitality industry and maintenance.
Essential Functions:
- Must be able to stand, walk, and move for extended periods throughout the day.
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs, such as cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment.
- Ability to perform tasks that may require bending, reaching, and climbing.
- Comfortable working in a variety of environmental conditions, including different weather conditions and property types.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, twist, kneel on occasion.
The Business Development Representative plays a vital role in ensuring Seaside Vacation Homes remains and gains momentum in the Vacation Rental Property withing Seaside and expanding areas. This role requires a blend of strong leadership, operational expertise, and a dedication to maintaining the highest standards.
Salary : $45,000 - $540,000
