Medical Director of Pulmonary Critial Care

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Pulmonary Critical Care Medical Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide leadership and direction for the pulmonary critical care service line, oversee clinical programs, and contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for the pulmonary critical care service line
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care
• Develop and implement clinical protocols and best practices to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Provide mentorship and support to medical staff and residents
• Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to enhance the delivery of pulmonary critical care services
• Act as a liaison between the pulmonary critical care department and other hospital departments
  
  

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine
• Current state medical license and DEA registration
• Proven leadership and administrative experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong commitment to quality patient care and clinical excellence
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team environment
