Key Responsibilities :
Receiving support and coordination of inbound truckloads to the terminal. Ensures paperwork is filled out properly, including recording, inputting and documenting details in the company computer system.Booking management and scheduling. Must be able to coordinate of truck arrivals, scheduling inbound and outbound appointments and process paperwork pursuant to those appointments.Cargo summary reports. Be able to assist and / or create a cargo summary report(s) for various customers with details, dates and specifics of each sailing.Barge certifications. The ideal candidate would have some working knowledge of barges and or trucking logistics. Willing to learning how to process and maintain records and Coast Guard certifications on the company’s barges and assets.Equipment control and inventory. Maintain and update company’s equipment list including a constant rotation of assets in both Alaska and Seattle.Freight and / or cross-dock experience a plus!Position may include interacting with customers and potential customers.What does it take to work for SeaTac Marine Services?
