Position: Warehouse/Freight Auditor
This individual is responsible for accurately checking or counting all products for both inbound and outbound freight. Ensuring the accuracy of physical goods to shipment documentation. Confirm that the physical counts, units of measure, labeling, paperwork, codes, and dates are correctly recorded.
Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed verification and revision of scanned documents to ensure accuracy.
- Check for exactness by comparing physical goods to shipment documentation.
- Identify and correct any discrepancies prior to shipping or receiving.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely review and accuracy of all records, including the validation of scanning and shipping documents necessary to meet established deadlines.
- Maintain organized electronic filing systems by ensuring proper storage and indexing for retrieval of scanned documents.
- Assist in implementing and improving auditing procedures, workflows, and quality control measures.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to address and document related inquiries or concerns.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and security protocols regarding document handling, confidentiality, and data protection.
- Provide support in other administrative tasks and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 6 months of experience auditing goods and shipping documents within the transportation and logistics industry.
- Knowledge of transportation and logistics processes, terminology, and documentation.
- Proficiency in using scanning equipment, software, and related tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while working with large volumes of documents and under deadlines.
- Familiarity with document management systems and electronic filing systems.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with the capacity to identify and resolve scanning-related issues.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

**Seats Incorporated offers an hourly wage starting at $19.50 per hour with an opportunity for progressive increases starting after 2 months and every 6 months afterward based on performance to a maximum of $22.50 per hour.
