Responsibilities
Reporting to the Sr. Director, Patient and Family Experience, the Director of Insights and Design leads the team responsible for qualitative and quantitative research, human-centered design and managing the volunteer and family advisor programs. This role advises and collaborates with physician and administrative executive leadership, patient and family advisors, and colleagues to assess results, define goals and recommend strategies to make meaningful and measurable improvements.. As part of the People and Culture division it is imperative for this role to lead experience work through our high-performing, values-based culture by living our values, cultivating team engagement and improving local and organizational results to better and more equitably care for patients, families and our workforce. This leader will be part of a team working to define and deliver a co-designed service strategy to clarify patient and family priorities and support leaders and individual contributors in their improvement efforts. The Director will work closely with colleagues to provide data and patient and family and workforce insights in support of the organization's anti-racism and equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and patient quality and safety initiatives. Collaborating closely with patient and family advisors, survey administrators, designers, data scientists and operations team members, this leader will communicate research and analytics insights and recommendations to diverse stakeholders in creative, compelling ways tailored for organizational impact. This leader relentlessly looks to improve processes and tools used for research, data, insights and reporting.

Requirements
Required Education/Experience: - Master's degree in business, analytics, research, healthcare, or related field - Five years experience leading teams, particularly in times of organizational and industry change - Experience designing and implementing patient/family/customer feedback systems, preferably in healthcare - Experience working directly with consumers/families and/or volunteers Required Credentials: N/A Preferred: - Experience collaborating with physicians and care teams - Experience consulting with or leading patient and family experience teams - Experience working with vendors and survey platforms such as Press Ganey or Qualtrics - Familiarity with human-centered design and/or qualitative user research methods - Experience leading analytics strategies, using quantitative and qualitative data to inform strategy and goals - Experience implementing a cross-organizational service strategy

Min: USD $63.20/Hr. Max: USD $94.80/Hr.Min to Max Annual Salary
Min Salary: USD $131,456.00/Yr. Max Salary: USD $197,184.00/Yr.Salary Information
This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.

Seattle Children's offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
