Position Summary
The Administrative Assistant is tasked with providing professional administrative support to the Director, Assistant Director, and the team. They will impact the department through providing exceptional internal and external guest service through a wide range of administrative tasks with composure, dedication, accuracy, and efficiency. In consistently delivering positive communication to all clients, employees, and partners, to enable the team to meet goals and maximize profits while delivering extraordinary service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assist the team in accomplishing their daily tasks.
- Support department efforts to achieve or exceed established goals, team goals, core work criteria, and support sales initiatives as defined in plans and strategies.
- Work in a team environment with co-workers and other professionals, providing the best opportunity for overall facility revenue, operations, and/or administrative functions.
- Provide administrative support to the Director and Assistant Director, Managers, and if applicable, other department staff on strategies to secure new business, provide operational and/or administrative assistance in the management of the two buildings.
- Research, develop and maintain resources for unique supplies and materials to support organizational strategies.
- Schedule and coordinate department meetings; assist with department activities.
- Provide clerical support, which may require discretion and confidentiality, to include, but not limited to answering telephones, responding to email inquiries, arranging meetings, research projects, preparation of financial reports and personnel correspondence, purchasing, and credit card processing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Power Point and Teams.
- Maintain working knowledge of department procedures, database software, desktop publishing, word processing, and other software applications.
- Perform all assignments with an attention to the safe operation of equipment and supplies, especially as it relates to the safety of self and others working within the area.
- Perform all duties in a professional productive manner, in accordance with the Quality Service Program, to ensure the successful operation of the SCC.
- Comply with the Center's mission and all standards, procedures and established programs and support compliance by department staff.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director or Assistant Director that further the department mission, vision and purpose

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Two (2) years of work experience in an administrative support position
- Direct experience with confidential information and providing a high level of customer service

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a hospitality or venue environment

Schedule: Typically, Monday to Friday. Flexibility to work evenings/weekends dependent on event schedule.
