What are the responsibilities and job description for the Newborn Nanny Seattle position at Seattle Nanny Network Inc?
Newborn Nanny
Seattle
45-50 hours/week,
Jan/Feb Start
These soon to be parents are both surgeons with long hours outside the home. Their first baby is due in November. They require an early morning start of 6AM and the day will either end by 3 or sometimes go over, but not later than 5pm. They aim to keep the schedule within 45 to 50 hours/week and will pay time and a half for any hours over 40 per week. They'd like someone to start in Jan/Feb timeframe, they are interviewing now.
Some light household management tasks such as simple meal prep and light organization would be very welcome (they have professional cleaners). There is a very mild mannered and well behaved dog in the home. He is a white shepherd and he loves children and people but he has a dog walker and doggy daycare so we will not be in the care of the nanny other than seeking occasional company.
A nanny who has worked for medical doctors before and understands the nature and demands of their work would be ideal but not required.
Duties include baby laundry and helping to keep baby bottles cleaned and sterilized, play areas clean, and generally keeping home as clean as you found it (parents keep its tidy). Most groceries are ordered online but there may be an occasional need for something from the store and a nanny amenable to helping would be amazing.
Parents are high energy, athletic, outgoing, and embrace the nanny as a professional who brings a lot of value to their work.
