Seattle Yachts has 2 openings for Managing Broker, one in our Anacortes, WA office, and one in our Seattle, WA office. We are positioned to have another year of robust growth, and we are seeking strategic leaders with industry experience to lead this sales team. Seattle Yachts is proud to represent an impressive selection of quality new boat lines including Nimbus, Hampton, Endurance, Northern Marine, Nordic Tug, Northwest Yachts, SeaPiper, Hanse, Dehler, Moody, and Tartan.
As the Managing Broker of one of these offices, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth within the designated region. You will lead a team of dynamic sales professionals, promoting a culture of excellence and customer-centricity. You will also be responsible for growing your team, recruiting both veteran yacht sales professionals to join, as well as less experienced prospects that show potential.
Compensation :
This is a 1099 position
Lucrative incentive program. Compensation of $100,000 - $200,000 .
Direct Sales Commissions as well as a management “override” on Sales.
Responsibilities Include :
- Accountable to develop and lead the best customer-centric sales team in the Yachting Industry.
- Foster an environment that utilizes the experience of the collective team to provide our clients with the highest level of service and experience.
- Lead a team of brokers, including managing up days, assisting in sales efforts, training, motivating, planning & and executing boat shows, and reviewing supporting documentation of sales.
- Assist and mentor sales personnel to achieve stated objectives and sales targets.
- Recruit and retain additional quality brokers.
- Manage lead generation and tracking programs in CRM
- Develop and execute strategies to increase market share / profits, establish / execute sales plans / sales promotions, and prepare / maintain monthly sales forecasts.
- Promptly follows up on action items, inquiries, customer complaints, product problems, technical requests, product evaluations, referrals, and industry leads.
- Assists the National Sales Manager with the preparation of annual sales forecasts and budgets.
- Controls sales expenses at the local level by maintaining all controllable costs at or below approved budget amounts.
- Ensures effective communication among division and corporate personnel.
- Ensures competent staff by planning and implementing ongoing development of personnel.
- Represents the region at national and regional industry association functions as appropriate.
- Works closely with marketing to develop a localized strategy that includes local advertising, sponsorships, tools for the sales team, and other requests.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
