We have multiple openings for medical receptionist position for our Federal Way offices.
COMPANY INFORMATION:
Seattle Pain Relief is looking for friendly, organized, computer savvy receptionists to provide exceptional customer service to our patients, staff and practitioners. Must be professional, efficient, detail oriented and able to multi-task under pressure. Medical office experience required.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Excellent customer service and phone etiquette
- Dependable/reliable/responsible
- Answer multi-line phone
- Schedule appointments
- Greet and direct patients
- Perform accurate data entry
- Experience with Insurance and patient account balances
- Request payments at time of service
- Interaction with doctors, nurses and billing
- Responsible for monthly duties, such as inpatient callbacks, departmental voice mail, pre-authorization requests, insurance verifications, sorting and forwarding faxes
- Informs supervisor or manager of issues or concerns and assists in determining a solution
- Performs other work-related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Two or three years experience in data entry environment
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to organize, manage a controlled workflow and meet deadlines
- Strong verbal and interpersonal skills including telephone customer service
- Proficiency in PC Applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
Additional Information
Hours: Full Time - 40 hours/week
Pay: Dependent on Experience. Competitive pay, benefits, paid time off
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
