Job Title: Ticket Sales & Service RepresentativeDepartment: TicketingReports To: Director of Ticket Sales & ServiceSUMMARYResponsible for generating revenue by selling ticket products to both new and existing customers. Responsible for the service, support and maintenance of assigned customer accounts and meeting all pre-determined individual and department sales and service performance goals.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following
- Actively sell all general ticket products, including but not limited to full season and group ticket sales
- Provide superior service to all customers
- Proactively build relationships with Season Ticket Holders and Blue Pride members and serve as main point of contact for day-to-day account needs
- Contact and encourage customers to renew their ticket packages throughout dedicated retention campaigns
- Assist Season Ticket Holders during annual seat relocation process
- Sell full season tickets to Blue Pride members and deposits to Blue Pride Notification List members as they become available
- Identify new business opportunities by proactively reaching out and following up with sales leads
- Under direction of manager, work with marketing and analytics team to identify and improve sales campaigns and strategies
- Field all inbound communication and provide necessary information to convert into sales or determine appropriate solutions on service issues
- Educate fans on how to access and manage mobile tickets
- Be informed and communicate both positive and negative feedback to help support a Fans First Culture
- Responsible for Customer Service responses and referring or solving complaints
- Responsible for additional customer service processes including but not limited to group recognition, special experience fulfillment, event planning and executionand fan behavior reporting and communication
- Meet established sales and service objectives set by supervisors
- Enter all customer, sales and service data into CRM system
- Attend and provide service at game days and other special events that include night and weekend work
- Other duties and projects as assigned
- BA/BS or equivalent experience in sales, service and customer relations is preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications working knowledge of windows based environment
- Experience with a ticket operations system, development application or other relational database
- Experience with computerized report writing or data extraction programs
- Knowledge of Ticketmaster, DSA and Microsoft CRM
- Demonstrated work experience in a professional sports or college athletics environment, including involvement with high-profile events
- Advanced oral and written communication skills
- Ability to speak in a professional manner via telephone or in person with guests, visitors and fans
- Understanding of basic accounting principles
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Outdoor work in the stadium is required
- Indoor work in offices is required
- Weekend and evening work is required
