What You’ll Do As Our Workforce Support Specialist (HR Generalist): You’ll be at the heart of our team’s success, handling essential HR functions — from processing payroll to supporting recruitment and benefits administration. You’ll collaborate with leadership to build a strong workplace culture while ensuring HR practices run smoothly and stay compliant with employment laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Help build our A-team by managing the full recruitment cycle — job postings, interviews, and onboarding.
- Payroll Administration: Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with wage and hour laws.
- Benefits Management: Support employees with benefit enrollments, questions, and ongoing administration.
- Employee Relations: Partner with department leaders to foster a positive work environment and address employee concerns.
- Compliance & Reporting: Maintain HR records, ensure legal compliance, and generate reports as needed.
- HR Systems & Processes: Manage our HRIS and continuously improve HR workflows.
What We’re Looking For
- An emotionally intelligent professional with excellent judgment and a commitment to kind and compassionate communication
- High attention to detail and strong organizational and time management skills
- 2 years of experience in HR, payroll, or related roles
- Familiarity with HRIS (Bamboo HR), payroll software (QuickBooks), and willingness to learn industry-specific time tracking software
- Knowledge of federal and state labor laws
- Discretion when handling sensitive employee information & sensitive situations
- Ability to work independently and to collaborate effectively with others
