SeaView Community Services is seeking a dedicated Recovery Center Clinician to provide therapeutic support and counseling to individuals in our residential and outpatient substance use disorder treatment programs. What You’ll Do:
- Provide individual and group therapy for clients in residential and outpatient recovery programs.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and create individualized treatment plans.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and trauma-informed care.
- Collaborate with case managers, peer support specialists, and medical providers to ensure holistic care.
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Facilitate relapse prevention planning, coping skills development, and behavioral health interventions.
- Participate in clinical team meetings, training, and program development initiatives.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field, required.
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure in Alaska as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT, preferred.
- Experience providing individual and group therapy in a behavioral health setting.
- Knowledge of ASAM criteria, trauma-informed care, and best practices in addiction treatment.
Preferred:
- Experience working in substance use disorder (SUD) treatment or a recovery-focused setting.
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations for behavioral health services.
