What you get to do:
As a Marketing Specialist, you will support SeaWorld Orlando and Aquatica Orlando Pass Member program. You will:
- Oversee the Orlando Parks Pass Member program, focusing on acquisition, increasing visitation, and retention of current members for SeaWorld and Aquatica Orlando
- Development and execution of the Annual Pass communication plan, including website and email channels
- Content management for the Pass Member website and monthly blog
- Analyze weekly reports and provide insight and recommendations for action
- Manage any purchase order requests for Annual Pass
- Write / Email briefs targeting Pass audiences to drive visitation. Monitor timelines, ensure stakeholders approve.
- Work closely with in-park revenue teams to secure, build, and promote Pass Member offers that contribute to the overall financial plan revenue
- Collaborate closely with all Florida United Parks and corporate partners to align and share best practices
- Track results of Annual Pass programs and rewards
- Lead pricing updates for admission products and communicate via promotions announcements to in-park teams.
- Contribute to the development and execution of the annual marketing planning process including new attractions, shows, events, culinary locations, and other park initiatives
- Assist with Social, Promotion, Public Relations, and Brand projects as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
What it takes to succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications preferred and/or equivalent experience and training
- Three years of proven experience creating or building a customer loyalty program and/or experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems preferred
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to adapt communication style to different audiences
- Can work and thrive in high pressured environment with the ability to multi-task and hit deadlines on time
- High work standards and degree of attention to detail
- Project management from start to finish; assumes responsibility & accountability for assignments and tasks
- Exhibits good interpersonal skills; collaborates with others; maintains composure when faced with difficult situations and personalities
- Physical ability to stand for multiple hours and lift or move 40-pound objects
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Must be available to work varying shifts/hours based on business need, to include nights, weekends and holidays
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Possession of a valid state driver’s license preferred
