Become a licensed Lifeguard and comemake a splash on the island! All American Red Cross Trainingsincluded after passing swim test prerequisite and hired for one ofour Lifeguardroles!

AquaticAttraction Guard :

Totalcompensation with incentive $14.50 perhour . Base rate $13.00 per hour earn anadditional $1.50 an hour if you work 16 or more hours each payweek! Pay incentive starts 01 / 6 / 2025 through06 / 04 / 2025.

Lifeguard :

Totalcompensation with incentive $16.50 perhour . Base rate $15.25 per hour earn anadditional $1.25 an hour if you work 16 or more hours each payweek! Pay incentive starts 01 / 6 / 2025 through06 / 04 / 2025.

Whatyou get to do :

Roll up your sleeves (if youhave sleeves) and play a key role in ensuring a safe and enjoyableguest experience. In addition to monitoring swimming areas andhelping guests in distress, you’ll greet and interact with guests,answer questions and resolve guest issues. Youwill :

Interact with guests whileimplementing park safetyguidelines

Warnguests of dangerous wateractivities

Preventand respond to guest emergencies

Administerfirst aid

Participatein scheduled in-service training and regular audits

Beproficient in park knowledge, water rescue,CPR / AED and FirstAidSkills

Monitorall park waterways and respond to guests indistress

Maintain the cleanliness of yourarea

Participate in American Red Cross andcompany audit processes

Attend in-servicemeetings and cross-train to work in other parkareas

Practice safe work habits, including theuse of Personal Protection Equipment(PPE)

Whatit takes tosucceed :

Atleast 18 yearsold

Mustsuccessfully pass pre-requisite swim test

Mustsuccessfully pass the company provided and paid American Red CrossCPR / AED

Must successfully pass one of thefollowing lifeguarding certifications : Aquatic Attraction Attendant(0-5ft) Deep Water Lifeguard (5ft plus)

Youmust pass regular swim tests and in-service / safetyaudits

You must be comfortable in and aroundwater

You must be comfortable with heights(high tower slides)

You must be able to workvaried schedules, including nights, weekends, andholidays

Exceptionalcommunication, multi-tasking and interpersonal skills are essential
