What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Representative position at Seay Oil Company?
Seay Oil Company is currently looking to fill a role in operations / sales that will increase the level of service provided to an existing customer base, as well as seek out additional opportunities that fit within our business model.

We have a personal connection with each customer and expect our services to align very closely with the needs of our customers. These expectations require a deep / growing understanding of services Seay Oil Company is capable of providing to customers as well as a close connection with customer needs. Industry knowledge or experience is not highly valued (but beneficial) in this position as we offer many unique services compared to traditional industry standards.
Basic Duty / Roles:
- Working in unison with operations to increase efficiency by routinely checking customer inventories and reporting data to operations.
- Communicating with customers on maintenance issues / billing questions / etc.
- Receiving maintenance calls on broken equipment or needed and reporting issues / needs to the Maintenance Department.
- Maintaining a repore with each customer (likely different attention level required with each customer. Judgement in this area is needed.)
- Understanding the customer base that fits company business model and seeking new potential customers.
- Must have the capacity to adapt to change easily and see the benefits / value iin this ability.
- Positive / ambitious attitude required.
- Everyday be filled with productive activities that are directly tied to increasing company productivity / efficiency. (we are very hands on company)
Compensation:
- Base salary commission on new business earned
