Overview
The award winning Wooden Angel Restaurant in Beaver/Bridgewater is seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your responsibilities will include managing reservations, greeting guests, and coordinating seating arrangements in a sometimes -fast-paced, upscale restaurant environment.

Our hours are Tue-Friday, 11-3pm for our lunch service.

We can accommodate for certain circumstances.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests as they arrive and provide them with an overview of the dining experience.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize the flow of guests.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely service.
• Assist guests with inquiries about menu items and restaurant services.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and dining area.
• Handle phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations as needed.
• Collaborate with the team to enhance guest satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.

Experience

• Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred, particularly in a restaurant or hotel setting.
• Familiarity with Toast or similar Point of Sale systems is a plus, but not necessary .
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
• Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a busy environment.
• A passion for providing excellent customer service and helping others enjoy their dining experience.
