Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor for any side effects or adverse reactions to medications and report findings appropriate staff.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals
Requirements
- Certification as a Medication Technician
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Experience working with individuals with substance use disorder
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
