Second Nature Brands is on a mission to grow from $500M to $1B over the next 4 years through an aggressive combination of M&A and organic growth. The Associate Brand Manager (ABM) will assist and lead in driving the growth of the trail mix brands to deliver our annual plan and specific brand objectives. This role will assist in developing the brand strategy, creating the strategic growth plans and translating those plans into execution while executing with excellence as a strong communicator and partner to the cross functional team.

- Serve as the voice of the Kar’s & Second Nature business and represent Marketing within cross functional teams on development and execution of key initiatives including new product launches and core portfolio optimization
- Track, analyze & review brand performance identifying areas to lean in and opportunities to improve; additionally understand competitive dynamics and category trends to offer recommendations for innovation, plans, social media and execution
- Develop growth opportunity recommendations leveraging customer, consumer, and brand data and insights
- Lead cross-functional teams to execute projects on time and in budget
- Partner with the Digital Marketing team on social content and calendars and ecommerce new item creation/setup
- Partner with Customer Marketing and Demand Planning teams on new item and program-specific forecasting
- Responsible for P&L oversight of Kar’s & Second Nature brands, products and new initiatives
- Lead agency execution on a day-to-day basis (e.g. shopper marketing, licensing execution, PR, digital etc.) as well as the execution of the annual marketing programs, manage promotions, and other marketing mix elements (e.g., packaging changes)
- Work with the Customer Marketing team on consumer/brand specific content required for selling and executional success including best-in-class selling materials
- Manage and track Kar’s & Second Nature brand expenditures and help manage the brand Marketing budgets.
- Bachelor’s Degree in business and/or related area of study; MBA preferred
- 4 years prior work experience, preferably within CPG industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Excellent project management skills with ability to work independently and as part of a team: well organized, successful at prioritization, attentive to details
- Proven leadership capability
- Analytical and problem-solving skills: Must be comfortable mining and analyzing data, then developing clear and actionable conclusions/recommendations. Experience with IRI or Nielsen is a plus.
