Warehouse & Merchandising Associate- Morning Shift 5a-1p

We are on a mission to grow Second Nature Brands from $500MM to $1 B in the next 3 years through a combination of organic growth (increased distribution, e-commerce, and innovation) and through M&A. We have an opening for a Warehouse & Merchandising Associate , who will be an important member of the route sales team during this growth. This position will be based out of our Kar’s Nuts Distributors facility located at 1671 East Lincoln, Madison Heights, MI 48071.

This role ensures that materials are properly stocked, organized, loaded and available to route sales team in our Madison Heights warehouse, while also assisting with merchandising our inventory in the field at our retail partners.

Regular working hours are Monday through Friday, 5:00am to 1:00pm, with weekday or weekend overtime as needed. The starting rate is $17.20 per hour.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Assist with order picking
• Assist with loading and unloading of delivery trucks as needed
• Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness
• Operate an industrial fork truck, power or manual jack, and pallet wrapper.
• Build and maintain positive relationship with internal and external customers
• Assist with store setups and display maintenance
• Ensure products are well-stocked, properly displayed, and merchandised for maximum visibility
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, following safety and maintenance protocols.
• Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and escalate complex problems to the appropriate route sales representative.
• Perform other duties as assigned
  
  

Required Qualifications Include

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Valid Chauffer driver’s license and a clean driving record
• English language proficiency
• Maintains stable performance under pressure or opposition
• Must possess hand-held computer aptitude and ability to work safely indoor food manufacturing setting.
  
  

This Position Requires The Ability To

• Lift and move product inventory (up to 50Ibs).
• Frequently walk on stand, bend, stoop, kneel, squat, grasp and reach overhead
• Walk on surfaces and inclines that may be wet or icy and to work regularly in a cold environment
