As the manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of Secrets Escape Rooms, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our customers. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional entertainment experiences.
Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of Secrets Escape Rooms, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and ensuring all equipment is in working order.
- Ensure ALL games are covered, that there are no “no call, no shows”
- Implement and enforce operational policies and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
- Operate and maintain the Hourglass Escape Rooms phone and incoming calls.
- Respond to and keep track of all large group inquiries and events.
Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and supervise a team of Time Professors and support staff.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, providing guidance and support to staff members.
- Handle any attendance or behavior infractions accordingly.
- Conduct monthly staff meetings, configuring tips, issues, performance of previous month, etc
Customer Service Excellence:
- Uphold high standards of customer service by ensuring that all staff members are trained to provide a welcoming and engaging experience for customers.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
- Work to accumulate and respond to 5-star reviews left by clients.
Quality Control:
- Conduct regular reviews of all facilities to ensure they meet quality standards and provide an immersive and challenging experience for customers.
- Collaborate with the shop team to maintain all rooms and props in proper order.
Financial Management:
- Monitor and manage bookings and large events, including collecting deposits and payment.
- Maintain in-store inventory of merchandise and track sales.
Marketing and Promotion:
- Collaborate with the Social Media Manager to develop and execute promotional strategies to drive customer engagement and increase bookings.
- Participate in community outreach events to promote Hourglass Escape Rooms.
Training and Development:
- Provide ongoing training for staff to ensure they are well-versed in escape room scenarios, customer service best practices, and safety protocols.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support staff development.
Health and Safety Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, conducting regular safety drills and inspections.
- Implement emergency procedures to address unexpected situations and prioritize the well-being of customers and staff.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of customer feedback, incident reports, and operational metrics.
- Generate regular reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
