Low Voltage Installer

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low voltage systems, including CCTV, access control and fire alarms. This role involves the installation of cabling for aformentioned systems, specifically in New Construction environments.

Duties

• Install, and configure low voltage systems including CCTV, access control, and fire alarms.
• Conduct system design assessments to determine the best solutions for client needs.
• Utilize hand tools and electrical equipment safely and effectively during installations
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, material usage
• Collaborate with other technicians and team members to complete projects on time.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician or similar role.
• Proficiency with hand tools and electrical equipment relevant to low voltage installations.
• Knowledge of CCTV systems, access control, fire alarm systems principles
• Relevant certifications in low voltage technology or related fields are preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A valid driver's license may be required for travel to job sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to Commute:

• New Orleans, LA 70121 (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• New Orleans, LA 70121: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
