Job Summary
We are looking for an Operations Supervisor to oversee field operations, ensuring seamless and efficient service delivery. This role involves optimizing bike rebalancing, managing inventory, scheduling employees, maintaining system integrity, and handling daily operational tasks. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with strong organizational and communication skills, capable of fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee Daily Field Operations: Supervise daily operations of our bike share service, including scheduling, staffing, and performance management.
- Monitor: Monitor field staff metrics and KPIs to ensure performance goals are met or exceeded.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, order supplies and equipment as needed.
- Systems Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of bikes and docking stations, meeting all safety requirements.
- Employee Development: Provide leadership, coaching, and development opportunities to field staff, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
- Training Development: Create and update training and informational content for field staff.
- Employee Training: Train employees and disseminate new information and training materials as needed.
- Employee Relations: Handle employee issues and provide corrective action when necessary.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
- Additional Duties: Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management to support the overall objectives of the company.
Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role, preferably in field operations or a similar environment.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in technical or mechanical experience.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in project management.
Requirements:
- Availability to work morning, evening, and weekend shifts
- Must possess a valid drivers license with a clean Driver's Abstract and pre-employment drug screening are mandatory.
- Proficient in computer skills, typing 35 WPM and use of but not limited to Microsoft products, and google environment.
- Adequate skill base in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to understand and learn new technologies quickly.
- Strong communication skills to effectively maintain positive relationships.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, work in various weather conditions, or perform physically demanding tasks consistently throughout their shift.
