The Responsibilities
- Test, analyze, and address issues with products and features
- Identifies and fixes failing tests
- Identifies, analyzes, troubleshoots, and documents problems with program function, output, or content
- Develop automated tests in existing testing environment
- Identifies gaps in code coverage and writes tests to cover areas of concern
- Duplicate and troubleshoot issues from customer sites
The Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related technical field
- Strong experience with Python
- Proficient with Linux command line and Linux administration (RedHat, Debian)
- Experience utilizing source code repositories such as Git
- Strong software troubleshooting skills and experience
- Natural team-player who can work seamlessly with engineers across the organization
- Excellent communication skills
Bonus Points
- Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related technical field
- Experience with networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, DNS)
- Network troubleshooting experience
- Experience with Jenkins, MySQL
- Knowledge of network security, authentication, and authorization
