Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled IT Field Service Support Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing on-site technical support for computer systems, hardware, and software applications. This position requires troubleshooting, system maintenance, and user support across various technical platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to users for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems, software applications, and peripheral devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other office equipment.
- Perform system upgrades and ensure that all systems are up-to-date with the latest patches and security updates.
- Document and track all support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Assist with software installations, configurations, and setups.
- Provide training and user support on basic computer systems and software applications.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve more complex issues as needed.
- Ensure that all services are delivered in a timely and professional manner, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an IT Field Service Support Analyst or in a similar technical support role.
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and networking concepts.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues with Windows, macOS, and common software applications (Office 365, etc.).
- Familiarity with Active Directory, networking protocols, and IT ticketing systems.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with end-users at all technical levels.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A Certification or similar IT certifications.
- Experience with enterprise-level IT systems and software.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and remote desktop support tools.
- Previous experience in a field service or on-site support role.
